Old friend
The version of "Southbound" on the Midnight Special is the best!!! You must be proud, Mike, to have been part of such a great band. I used to brag to friends that I knew the keyborad player in Great Southern.
I've often wondered what happened to Don Buh. He was always good to me hooking me up with passes and that. Also was wondering whatever happened to Doni Sharbono and Hoyt, too. Just heard the sad news about Frankie. Always a real nice guy. Please e-mail me if you don't mind. Great site btw, brings back a lot of great memories.
I too enjoyed these years together as it was a great time in life in general...The music era was kicking ass and concerts we on a major high...We have been enjoying playing shows throughout our musical career and we owe so so much to our fans who have supported us now for 30 some years...I thank you...Great job with this site Mike...
Love You Bro,

Great website! I am a big fan of Dickey betts & Great Southern and it's really great to find so much information of the early days of the band.I have just managed to find and download the rockpalast concert from 1978 - what a pity live footage is not available!
What about Doni Sharbono, is he still working as a musician?
